The JH110 series were a recording studio staple throughout the 1970s and 1980s. These went head-to-head with the Ampex ATR 102 series and ultimately won out due to their elegant design and ease of operation. These can be configured as 1/4” two track, 1/2” two track and 1/2” four track. Many useful accessories such as our Transformer I/O cards and remote control can make these machines even sweeter. JH-24
Starting at $10,500
The JH24 series is the pinnacle of the MCI multi-track evolution. There were more MCI JH24s used in U.S. recording studios in the 1980s than any other tape machine. These can be configured in 1” 8 track, 2” 16 track and 2” 24 track. Each machine comes with a remote/autolocator with a 30’ cable. Pricing is based on the availability of the headstack you choose. MCI made many, many more 2” 24 track heads so they are the most affordable option. Many useful accessories such as our remote stand can make these machines even sweeter.
